Emissions reduction targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 0.48 tCO2e per employee pro rata by 2029. This is a reduction of 50%.

Carbon reduction projects

Prior to the baseline year we have attempted to operate with a minimum carbon footprint as standard. We are a small team providing consultancy services and have a naturally ‘light’ carbon footprint, mainly based on business travel, the use of rented workspaces and home offices, and employee travel. Our focus is on minimising the impacts of these activities.

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:

• Continue to ensure all staff achieve Carbon Literacy Certification accredited by the Carbon Literacy Trust

• Work towards ISO14001

• Reduction of scope 3 emissions through reduced commuter travel (move from 3 days per week in office to 2 days per week in office on average)

• Contributing to nature recovery projects through social responsibility commitments associated with our projects

Declaration

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
